چکیده
From the PRRSV virulent strain BG8 isolated from a PRRSV-infected pig, using serial passage method in MARC-145 cell line, we have successfully obtained an attenuated 95th passage, named as BG895, with high potential to be vaccine candidate. In this study, present results of safety and efficacy evaluation BG895 against experimental pigs. Trial formula very when inoculating 5 doses/animal 10 doses/animal. Evaluation immune response by ELISA showed that, 14 days post inoculation, anti-PRRSV antibodies were detected serum all inoculated pigs batches lowest S/P index 1.50 ± 0.4 highest was 2.36 0.1 28 inoculation. The IPMA that antibody titer reached ≥ 1/160 100% 21 inoculation andreached 1/640 indicating effective at protecting protective effect evaluated challenge 1 dose/animal compared control group. group typical clinical manifestations Blue-ear disease, had normal body temperature weight gain, besides, increased 1.65 2.99 0.2; average >1/2560, virus wasnot nasal fluid real-time RT-PCR 7 challenge. These confirmed PRRS based on BG895strain.

Evaluation the Efficacy of Anthrax Vaccine against Challenge with a Highly Virulent Strain of Bacillus anthracis Isolated from Soil in Sheep, Goats and Guinea Pigs in Iran
Protection of animals immunized against Bacillus anthracis is usually demonstrated by challenging with an appropriate dose of a strain of Bacillus anthracis that is lethal to unvaccinated animals inoculated at the same time. In this study the protective efficacy in anthrax vaccine (34F2 sterne strain spore) was evaluated in sheep, goats and guinea pigs challenged with subcutaneous inoculation...

Herpes zoster (HZ) is a viral disease characterized by a dermatologic and neurologic involvement caused by the reactivation of the latent varicella zoster virus (VZV) acquired during primary infection (varicella). HZ incidence increases with age and is related to waning specific cell-mediated immunity (CMI). The most frequent complication of HZ is post-herpetic neuralgia (PHN) characterized by ...
